The name Kreocode combines the word Kreo (creation in Esperanto) and code (a term used in computer programming).
What is Kreocode?
Kreocode is an annual multidisciplinary coding event organized by the RÉCIT. It offers coding training for teachers and stimulating challenges adapted for preschool, elementary, secondary, and AGE.

Members of the local, regional and national “RÉseau axé sur le développement des Compétences des élèves par l’Intégration des Technologies(RÉCIT)” collaborated to create a computer programming event. From this hard work in 2021-22, a committee was put into place to organize this first event.
